Local Store to Be Featured on ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Thanks to Coastal Classics, a Myrtle Beach family recently added some designer charm to their brand new home on ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” in an episode airing March 25 at 8 p.m. on ABC. Coastal Classics, a high-end interior design, furniture and home accessories store on King Street, donated furniture and accessories to complete the decor of the new home for Renee Wilson and her four young grandchildren who were previously living in a run-down mobile home.

"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" is a series that transforms deserving families’ homes inside and out in a race against the clock to change the homes, in just seven days with the help of volunteers and donated items. The show, which has won back-to-back Emmy Awards as Best Reality Program (non-competitive), is in its 4th season on ABC. The program is produced by Endemol USA, a division of Endemol Holding. Denise Cramsey is the executive producer; and David Goldberg is the president of Endemol USA.

Coastal Classics is a high-end interior design, furniture and home accessories source located in the heart of the shopping district at 511 King St. in historic downtown Charleston, S.C. Offering all-wood and upholstered furniture lines, as well as a variety of upscale accessories, Coastal Classics, which has been featured on ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, provides the services of award-winning ASID-certified designers to help clients decorate their home in the classic cottage style.
